Airplant

Please, I really need your help. I’m afraid my plant could be seriously unwell – possible rot.

Hi, last week I posted a few pictures from my Caput Medusae who had suddenly developed a reddish-brown spot at the base of some leaves. I kept a watchful eye on her and today I took some other pics while I was bathing her and after.

It seems to me that the patches could be spreading and while the "bulb" and the greener leaves remain very firm and bright, the brown parts are comparatively softer (still won't budge if you try to pull them). Given the fact that it's still going on after a week, I'm afraid that this could be rot, but the plant doesn't smell and when it's dry the affected parts don't look quite as bad. I don't know if these are good signs or not, but please, I really need your help. This is my favorite tilly, the very first one I've ever had, I managed to keep her alive for one full year at this point and she was doing so good that last month she started growing her first root…I don't want to lose her. If there's anything, anything at all you can recommend me, please, I'll be forever grateful.

A few notes on my plant care:

1) always near a window with a fan if it's very hot;

2) since the temperatures are kind of in the extreme range right now, my plants get soaked for 10-15 minutes four to six times per week; during spring, fall and winter, they only get sprayed 1-3 times per week.

3) bright light for 5+ hours per day, plus approximately 1. 5 hour (non consecutive) of direct sunlight;

4) I always make sure they're perfectly dry after every bath.

Thank you.
