Hi Karen. I don't garden. I don't have a green thumb. I kill everything but I am so excited for you and can't wait to see what happens on this journey of "Planting a spring garden". I am hoping and praying that at the end of this adventure you will reap a beautiful and delicious harvest and who knows maybe your success with give me the courage to try my hand at it because there is NOTHING like home grown tomatoes!

We are lucky in Florida no snow.
just a tip: cilantro is a cool weather plant grows in cool weather….also I planted milkweed and it comes back every year so beautifully its a bright orange, one of the best things I have ever planted, when you see the caterpillars on it eating it leave them alone its the dawn of new monarchs. I bought a tiny walk in greenhouse and my zinnia seeds are huge! Jasmine peach candle sounds wonderful!! I have tons of seed that are 1 to 2 inches high now. I have lemon and regular basil coming up already, lemon basil is divine!!! I also planted some heirloom tomatoes. I buy the pecan chips as well. The purple onion is so good in salads. Good luck with your seeds, it's so much fun growing them!!

I love to start some of my flowers and veggies from seeds. Always fun to check daily if anything has spouted. Sometimes I like to buy my tomato plants so you can get a few different varieties. Peas can be planted before you would plant your other plants. Nothing better than fresh picked peas. I love the plant and Zinnias. They are bright in colors and make excellent cut flowers. Karen love your videos you are so happy and inspiring. I have ordered Fort Laramie strawberries from Amazon and they are perennials. They are the sweetest little strawberries .
Love that salad! Fresh strawberries are already being sold in NC! I think you can buy plants instead of seeds for strawberries 🍓

Such a great video, Karen! Love following your garden journey! I started my gardening ride last year and I just love it! It’s taught me so much, one of the most important being companion planting! It’s mind blowing to know what veggies and herbs don’t grow well/near each other! And what edible plants deter things like aphids and grubs, etc. Keep it up Karen, the best is yet to come! 😊
