I only have a small garden and I am new to composting. I have used the tumbleing composter for a few months but I decided to make a compost bin out of my wheelie bin rather than paying for the green bin collection.
I put some bricks in the bottom and then made a 'shelf' with some mesh then added a tap to collect any 'juice' before I started filling.
I have been using it for a couple of months now, mostly kichen scraps, garden waste. As well as adding wood chip litter (removing all poop) from my cats litter tray. I know some people think this is contraversal, I do not plan on using this for any veg or edible. But have been told it's a really good to use as the brown.
The last picture is some sived compost, what does everyone thinks?

Nice! I dunno why more people don’t compost, rather than paying to council to take it away to make compost, and then buying more compost.
Innovative.
