Plant Propagation

Can this be saved

Trying to root this mint monstera node cutting after the old roots rotted off. Currently it’s in a perlite prop box in a north facing window and I supplement it with grow light when it gets dark. After the roots rotted off, I cleaned the node and sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide. It seems like it’s still rotting and it’s also molding as well. Is the node too gone for this to root? Any advice would be very helpful in terms of helping it to root and the treatment.

I’d say you have a chance not sure how much of one but I’m sure some rooting hormone on the nodes would improve your chances. Good luck
