    …I want to pet it.

Edit: I want to pet it and not have to go to the hospital or die after doing so.

They’re not terribly dangerous, unless its diseased or you’re a rabbit, a small child, or Verne Troyer. This one looks pretty healthy to me just based on this one picture.

I love how all cats are Cats. Tigers like to hang out in (big) cardboard boxes. All cats to the biiiiiiiig stretch. Leopards show their tummies in sunny spots. All cats is cats and it is very rude that so many of them are not pet-able (or are pet-able, but only once)

I’ve tried to pet every wild animal I’ve found since I was a kid. It’s worked a surprising number of times including porcupines, raccoons, stray cats and dogs, two birds. More often I’m unsuccessful but the successes are worth it.

That said about 5 years ago I found out I was exposed to rabies at some point without being aware and didn’t get sick or die. I handled bats a lot with bare hands as they were a constant part of living in an old farmhouse where I lived with my family up until 18.

TLDR: just try it, good or bad you’ll have a unique experience you can aw people with forever. Or in a very slim set of circumstances your loved ones can aw people with after you get murdered by a bobcat.
