Carnivorous Plants

Cape sundew question

So I browsed a little bit here about cape sundews and found some answers, didn't know about this sub until now, but I do have some more

Got this giant offshoot that randomly popped up and from what I could find out appears the little bulbs on there are seeds?
Is the cape sundew like some plants where this is like a death blossom signaling end of life? It appears to be dying at the base now.
I couldn't find any other pictures with what looks like a whole new plant growing on the end. Can I propagate this?
She does eat well thanks to ask the fresh fruit we have from my garden

Whoa, I’ve seen this happen on Venus flytrap flower stalks but never on a sundew, that’s very rare and very cool, you should be able to cut it off and get it to root, look up some videos on propagation and enjoy your new sundew OP :))

It’s called false vivipary. Common in some species (such as D. prolifera) but relatively rare in cape sundews
