I Forgot What This One Is

Anyone have help on care for this plant? It started shedding leaves this week. Soil was dry so I’m hoping I just took too long between watering it. There is a brown texture on the back of some of the fallen leave though. The other side of them look healthy though. It is currently getting lots of light, but I have a window if it needs less direct.

I know its a variegated peperomia, not sure what causes the spots but mine has them too and its still growing fine

It is peperomia obtusifolia variegata. They don’t have big root systems and because of that are prone to overwatering. Make sure you check the soil deeper down before watering. I think that the brown spots are oedema, so nothing worrisome.

Prefers humid conditions 60F to 85F, indirect sun bounced off a white wall, no direct light, sensitive to UV, minimal water from the bottom, mycorrhizae in the soil, a Nickel at the bottom of the pot helps mycorrhizae turn ammonium into Urea to reduce chance of burn.
