First post! Just wanted to share my new purchases this weekend.
I'm relatively new to orchids (around two years) I have 5 phals of varying stages which are doing great and had been wanting something different but struggled coming across much else near me.
I do usually just buy the ones in need of rescuing and have had one really poorly guy that's now doing great but the local garden centre shared that they had lots of new orchids in and on sale for £5 each so I couldn't resist a trip.
Am I right in thinking these are oncidiums? It took me far too long to choose only two! 😅
Off to do lots of research now!

Do I not see a tag in the pot on the left?
You’re right that they’re both in the Oncidium alliance. The one on the left looks like Oncidiopsis Nelly Isler (or maybe close relative). [Here’s an OrchidRoots link](https://www.orchidroots.com/display/information/100103229/). I don’t know about the one on the right.
