I’ve got this bloomquist merlot plant that’s always been a great bloomer and today I noticed this bloom. Half merlot, half something else? It’s a pink yellow color. Perfect half and half. Has anyone else seen this before or had their plants change overtime?

Save that seed! Not that dahlias seedlings are copies of their parents but that would be a cool trait to try and replicate
