I am beyond please with my swamp mallow/hardy hibiscus! Generally in the more eastern part of our state staying a bit more wet, however still drought and frost tolerant. She’ll get about 3’x3’, maybe a bit bigger.

Super cool! I just planted 2 plugs earlier this year, looking forward to seeing the flowers!
I just picked up one on sale, too . I’m north of you in zone 5. I’m hoping for winter hardiness .
Mine formed a couple of very beautiful flowers this year, unfortunately I think Japanese beetles pretty much decimated it after that. I’m hoping it will come back stronger next year and I can be more attentive to preventing beetle damage.
