Anyone know how to block the spigot hole for aquarium?

Hi, I have an unused water dispenser, something similar to the picture(should be above 1 gallon+). But the spigot is gone so what's essentially there is a hole. Is there any way to seal it or block it up? So l can try turning this into a tank? Im planning to add shrimps and snails after cycling the tank

If the spigot was still there you could probably silicone it, but if it’s gone a huge glob of silicone probably won’t hold. You could use a bulkhead fitting with a cap, just make sure the size is correct and that it comes with a cap for closing it off.

Stainless nut and bolt with rubber washers might do it. They might make a plastic equivalent as well.

I read that I see the writing now. Bulkhead at home depot, lowes or Tractor Supply. Measure hole diameter.

I keep finding jars like this and was wondering if I could use them. Might be fun for a vivarium and allow for quick water changes.
