This is a zz plant. They are super easy to take care of. First, cut the parts that are brown and wilted. Place the pot near a sunny window and water only when the soil gets almost completely dry. This could mean watering every week or even every 1.5 months depending on your pot size. You can check using a wooden skewer or a chopstick. Make sure to water thoroughly every time you do.

Zz plant. Mine only needs watering like once every 2 weeks or even longer, so be careful not to overwater. Not sure why yours is so unhappy… How close to a window, and facing which direction?

Is there much soil in that pot? Looks half empty?

These like to be root-bound. That pot looks way too big, which means too much soil and therefore too much moisture retention. I would pot it into something smaller and make sure the plant is closer to the top of the pot.

Water thoroughly but make sure the soil is almost totally dry before watering again.

Is it near a window? Are you waiting until the soil dries out before watering? Is there a pest? Is it root bound or does the soil need to be changed? There could be so many reasons honestly.

I think you are over watering it. Mine is near a window and my house tends to retain humidity so I water it once every 3 weeks in the summer and once a month in the winter.
Like really, the more you ignore it the more it’ll thrive.

    It’s definitely being overwatered

definitely overwatered, mine only gets water once every 2 months, they have big potatoes that hold water under their toes, they need a fluffy soil too. just ignore them xD

I think I last watered my ZZ 2 months ago and it’s thriving!

Yellowing of old foliage, with very dark young foliage can be Phosphate deficiency.
A pinch of Bone Meal might help.
