Plant Propagation

Did I cut my Arrowhead plant in the right place?

Trimmed my pink syngonium today and want to propogate them in water but not confident on how I cut them.

Dude nooo!!! You have to cut the leaves with a node, not only the leaves with the petiole.

Is this a joke post? If not, ouch! You’ve effectively grabbed a flower and pulled off the petals hoping to grow a plant from a petal. Did you at least keep the stem they were growing from? If so, you can still save it 🙂

I just saw photo 2/3. You can save this plant. My best advice is go watch 5 or 6 YouTube videos on propagating syngoniums. Watching it in real time can be more effective than just reading words IMO. Some of your cuttings will prop in just water, some may need moist perlite. Best of luck!
