Mine started growing outward as well (which is very weird as they are normally under ground) and then just dried up… you could, since you have two, maybe experiment with one of em. For instance cut up and propagate as usual in perlite or stratum or shallow puddle method.. or even bury it to see what happens 🙈

This is kind of hilarious… but yeah I’m afraid they’ll dry out, you could try to wrap one or two (since there are several) in wet sphagnum moss and some plastic to see if they want to mature fully. If they’re happy and growing roots you only need to snip off and keep going. And I’m interested to see what the rest would do. If this were mine I’d experiment with moss, bags, cutting, letting it be etc
