i am sooo happy. my sides are cleared and i’ve had loads of fresh topsoil and mulch laid down by my landscapers. i feel like i’ve got a fresh start! i’m too excited. what’s good to plant this time of year for good growth next spring / summer? i want colorful, full, green, and funky! thanks in advance and pics of my beautiful new mulched sides 😁🥰

I’m biased as a perennials man, but they give me so much pleasure. Aster, Rudbeckia, Phlox (damp area), Heuchera (dry shade) Chrysanthemum, Sedum (Autumn Joy, sunny dry area) Dahlias…the list is almost endless.
Enjoy that blank canvas, it’s exciting for sure.
