First time growing cucamelon, how do you tell when they are ready to harvest?

   I’ve also grown these this year for the first time. I find the longer they stay on the vine the more lemony they taste, but the rind? gets a bit tougher.

   Those are ready. You can eat them pretty much at any stage after the fruit is formed. The longer you wait the more sour and seedy they get.

   I pick them when they look just like that 🙂

   I pick them when they’re around 1 inch long or a little smaller for a nice light taste.
