I found it really interesting. Not that 5 acres isn’t a lot for some folks, but I like that this demonstrates that you don’t need a ton of space to achieve your goals.
Haven’t read it, but would imagine with a bit of woodland and only raising poultry or meat rabbits would be rather space and cost efficient.
Something I really appreciate is trying to make use of everything available in some way, especially waste streams. Does the book go into that?

this is a great book! It was the first ‘homesteady’ book i remember reading, it has been a while but the breadth of knowledge this guy had was eye opening and inspiring. it feels like reading from a different time.
