Went back home after a few days away and saw my alocasia getting her first leaf at my home after owning her for only 14 days .. I had a few alocasias back then but they all died and never had the chance to make a leaf in the first place.. (they were in soil) i was about to completely give up on them but I'm so glad that I didn't because keeping them in semi hydro seems to be the trick..gotta wait for a few more leafs before I get myself another alocasia tho <3
