Sharing a little project I've been working on. I found these tiny (what I believe are) red chanterelle mushrooms growing next to my air conditioning unit, and it inspired me to make something from only what I gather in my yard. Everything in here was collected from my land, excluding the materials I used for the drainage layer. Here it is, 5 days old. I love it!
What's in here – several types of moss, some dried up roots from a fallen tree, spotted wintergreen, small spleenwort ferns, creeping spurge, a few different wood sorrel/oxalis, and some type of phyllanthus.

You think the mushrooms are gonna make it? I’ve heard many have a hard time keeping them in terrariums.
