I totally agree with you.
Lol at Gary reading his script 😂!! Just throwing it out there that I was thinking of those elevated lettuce containers going into the kennel area – you can fit a lot in limited space and keep the critters at bay.
Hope you’re healing nicely 👀 👍🏼. Thanks for the updates!
Thanks to you, I too have a chair garden and I love it. So easy and with Gary's wood chip idea, I have that too and the yard looks so nice. Thank you both. Happy Gardening! How's the eyes? Take care
Nice chair garden Robbie. You introduced me to the chair garden 😉 but this year I decided not to have the chairs I just have my tote garden on the ground it seems to be doing marvelous 🙌
How are your eyes 👀 doing??
You could run a dripper irrigation line along the driveway on a timer, so no work required.
But yes allowing access for Gary's woodchips is a good move, I would like to see more truck loads delivered.
Sounds like a really good plan, Robbie. A gardening friend told me about you a few months ago, and I watched everything you've posted for the last year. Now I'm watching the rest of your videos from oldest to newest. It WAS 6 years ago when you did the 'woodchip nightmare' videos. 😊
I was wondering if the wood chips attracts termites.
🥰 Hi Robbie so nice to see 👀you. 🥰
Great idea Robbie. You have so much going on❤
That was hilarious the beginning of the video. There is no harm in downsizing. I think it is a good idea.
❤
Great idea. Less stress.
Dear Robbie thanks to you now I have a beautiful chair garden saving my back!! Please tell me what happened to the emus?? Can anybody guide me to the video where they talk about them? I don’t think I have miss any but I haven’t seen them!! 😞😞😞
I'm having a major issue with slugs. I didn't think they would be such a problem in the totes.
I absolutely love you two!! Robbie and Gary, please do more skits! You are awesome! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ PS I haven't finished the whole video so you may discuss this….could you keep the Wall Garden for things that you really want and also need a warmer place (if the Wall reflects heat) during certain times of the year?
You can use those totes on the wall and make another chair garden next to the one you have. Or use totes and vining plants in the new arbor . You probably have enough vining plants already established to put in arbor.
You still have pond area that may not need as much water.
I like to see what you are up to next. Lol
Robbie I tried the 1.2 inch tubing and zip tied to secure it but the weight of my tomato plants make them lay over sideways I’m totally frustrated is nothing seems to work to stake them up and protect them.
hi robbie 🤗
great video. tfs
I have & love my chair gardens thanks to Robbie!
G'day Robbie and Gary, SO, a thought, have you ever thought of moving the chair garden closer to the house area, put it next to the new arch. Slowly making everything in the one half of the land, then it's even easier to work with.
I would love for you to share making your green drinks.
I remember your driveway garden when you started it. I couldn't believe how long it was. Keep going with your changes. We love seeing the changes.
Robin you sure gotta a great man.
One in a million
good information
This is probably my last year to grow so much. I’ll probably grow in 2 totes next year. That’s it. Maybe my dishpans. ??? My health is getting bad.
Great ideas!
I moved my garden 20 feet from my front door in 2 decent size raised beds.
That video clip was one of the 1st videos I saw of yours Robbie. Your chair garden truly inspired me to get started growing.
I found several plastic chairs like yours, some wooden & metal chairs in my neighborhood treasure-trash. After my 1st year (4 yrs ago) I got rid of the wooden chairs but kept the others. I have added more treasures of dishwashers. Removing all the racks & motor and covering in the motor hole with 2 layers of tote lids & zip ties. 3 yrs now it has been my Sweet Potato bin. With bountiful harvests every New year!🎉 [yeah they take a few months to grow!]
Keep on keeping on!
My thots for that forever wall…
Go get some more paint samples, or buy the larger "OOPS" Cans of paints, (you know those colors people want to match something already established and it doesn't match. Oops gotta try again…) but use those artistic genes you have & create a wall of art. I can see your hummers, your finches, tributes to your past pets. Only watering needed will be an occasional rinse off from splatters of mud during your rainy season.
Don't forget to paint what you grow too 😊
Hi Robbie, I have a question I was drying my coffee grounds to storage for later use but now it has white mold. Can I still use it? Thank you in advance.
We're do you get walking onions I want to get some I see you all day same videos every my daughter's tell me mom that's all you see .so I tell them I want to kn were to get walking onions but I will still see you anyway I love to garden
Great ideas. I agree. Make things EASIER on you both. Wish I could send a photo. I have my chair garden up and growing. I have peppers , Turmeric, Ginger, Eggplant, Basal, Oregano and Mint. I have a compost floral bucket in each tote and drains and buckets underneath each one. I have tulle around the whole thing. I had an eggplant flower, but it disappeared. Hmmm. Maybe I need tulle on the top. I got hose but hadn't put it up yet.😊 I just love this system. I'm 69 and it really helps! Thank you again!🎉
Thank you Robbie for all you have given. My garden is wonderful thanks to you. I used the food stuffs as you do but the wildlife helped itself to my buried goods so I decided to grind everything down, I bury the mush in dirt that I keep in a wheelbarrow. I then use the dirt as needed. Now the critters are gone my yard is quite ,my worms are happy my plants are happier and I am happiest. I did noticed that you have an almost weed free yard and I’m wondering how you maintain it so? Thank you for your show. Helen 😊
I agree with you . Down sizing is great. I love whatever is growing down the sides of the walls on the driveway. Maybe plant low maintenance climbing vines? ❤❤❤
I have a problem with hoses.
Im just no good at picking them out I guess. I am on a budget so that doesnt help I guess.
I need flexability in a hose but those flex hoses get holes in them in no time. The others I have tried are do stiff and hard to handle. Help
With health and dexterity / mobility changes happening to me, I appreciate so very much the more practical set ups for your containers. That great expanse of wall is begging for a colorful mural. Perhaps there are young new artists who would jump at the opportunity for free.
Wow. This is a great idea. I do container gardening in my version of the earth box container. Putting this on chairs would be a great idea
Lol, love Gary's acting skills
Lol, I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS. THANK YOU ❤❤❤❤❤❤
