First props of my AVs. Why is perlite turning green in my props? They look too wet to me, but they’re growing great.🤷♀️
The one pictured on the bottom right has the most green perlite. I’d be worried if it didn’t look the best. Is it moss? The same thing happened on only one of my portulacaria afra plants. I separated and potted them at the same time, same watering and light, just like the props.

I need to know, too. I’m having the same thing with a bunch of my props, but it seems fine so far.
Just algae growth. Could be a sign that you are keeping your soil too wet. You could try bottom watering to help avoid this too 🙂
