Avocado scorched or sth else?

I grew this avocado from seed in a poech container. These orange spots started to show last week. I assumed it was gettimg roasted being under 7-8 hours of direct Texas summer sun so I moved it somewhere that it gets 2-3 hours max of direct sun. The spots somehow slowed down since so I assumed it was all good, but recently I saw a fungus infection picture that reminded me of this so I just wanted to double check that it's not actually a pest or disease.

I water it daily, once at dusk, occasionally a second time during the day if it seems dry already by mid day.
