This is happening to most of my plants now. Some spots even have double, triple shoots coming on the same spot, whereas normally it’d be only one, or none. Some still too small to count but it looks like a blob of shoots.

    Only two things happened recently:

    1. I was given & used a bad pesticide that nearly killed or killed many of them.
    2. I used a really old fertilizer I had around for flowering. But it was a very small amount and I had never seen this happen while using it other times.

Any ideas what could be causing it?

I mean, given recent events I’m surely a happy camper, but it almost looks like they’re little mutants now 🙂

My only idea is that #1 might’ve killed the shoots, and they’re behaving similarly as when you cut down a tree and it sprouts from everyfuckingwhere. Or the chemicals are behaving weirdly and sending “sprout everything all at once” signals. I definitely would love to replicate the latter. If anyone knows of other things that trigger this I’d also love to know!
