What did you do to make sure the water stays oxygenated? How long before the fish start suffocating for lack of oxygen?

I wish the fish will not grow then🙄. How come you put a big size fish to the pond you made. The fish was really struggling for that to survived. Don't you see that back of the fish was not covered by water.
The pond idea was good but the instinct was tooooooooooo low .
