  1. Definitely need to do an episode on the Garcia family. The people behind Drivetime and Carvana and a few other companies. Crazy story.

  2. We had a beehive growing up as did our grandfather. When we’d get the honeycomb trays out, we’d put 3 of them in a barrel and spin them around and the honey would flow into glass jars.

  3. MFM! MY GO-TO Podcast 💯%! From startups, to tech, to life, to friendship stories, to a future w/ AI..And now gardening. Pure love from me fellas ❤🤍💙. Thanks for your work👊🏼👊🏼

  4. thats the dream. making killer money from gardening. People dont realize the history of gardens. Romans made them popular and having a garden full of flowers meant you were rich enough to plant non-foods and had enough land and time to care for this recreational activity. To be making money from this is next level awesome. love it

  5. I've spent my life trying to turn a potato into being juicier, crispier, and grown on a tree. Just left my house for first time in 40 years and someone beat me to it. They call them "Apples"

  6. He kept saying seed company being a big acquisition I’m thinking how’s that?, lol. An actual seed company. Well that makes sense.

  7. The beekeeping thing is interesting, so I let my fingers do the walking — and this is what I found out: The total addressable market (TAM) for beekeeping products in the United States is significant, reflecting the growing interest and industry trends. In 2022, the U.S. beekeeping industry was valued at approximately $616.9 million. This market includes various products such as beekeeping equipment, honey production, beeswax products, and other related items (IBISWorld).

To calculate the TAM, consider the number of active beekeepers, the average annual spending per beekeeper on equipment and supplies, and the overall demand for beekeeping products. The market is expected to grow due to increasing awareness of bee conservation, the rising popularity of hobbyist beekeeping, and the demand for natural honey and related products.

Based on industry reports and trends, the U.S. beekeeping market is projected to continue growing, driven by factors such as urban beekeeping initiatives, educational programs, and the expansion of commercial beekeeping operations (Arc).

For a detailed analysis and future projections, consulting market research reports from sources like IBISWorld and industry-specific analyses can provide deeper insights into the TAM for beekeeping products in the United States.

  8. Gardening significantly gained popularity after COVID-19. During the early days of the pandemic, many people turned to gardening as a coping mechanism to deal with lockdowns. Moreover, the interest in gardening peaked in various countries as COVID-19 infections peaked, suggesting a strong correlation between the pandemic and the interest in gardening.

  9. 1. Why don’t you feature women? 2. Why are all comments about women focused on their physical attributes? Come on guys, it’s 2024, not 1950s. DO BETTER.

  10. Love this guy. Not all of us who are interested in the game of money are materialistic. Very inspiring.

  11. Best episode yet. Sorry Sam- airplaying this on the big screen, maybe lighting or focal point but your mic cover is distractingly dusty

  12. Is anyone else kept getting distracted by the cool Shopify tracker in the background? It went from 275 to 288 during the hour long video.

Very chill guy, loved how he explained the different phases his company went through. Sam did a great job asking the right questions.

  13. this is so close to home. we're landscapers, built our own crm initially, not focus on saas market for landscapers.

  14. Kevin is the man! And super fun watching him grow, been a fan of his since the start. Love botanical interest as well. Inspiring Guy, makes me wanna start a business!!
