Got a lot of cuttings from my mother plant that seem more than ready to transfer to soil now, however I’ve had a bad track record with adding the cuttings to the mother plant’s pot.
I’ve had my Coleus die twice on me (both mother plant + cutting) after adding a cutting to the same pot now (thankfully had a spare plant), so i’m wondering if maybe I did it wrong?
I want that bushy look so I want to eventually have all the cuttings and mother plant in the same pot.
But should I transfer all the cuttings to a dedicated pot first and keep it moist so that I don’t bother my mother plant with a new watering schedule? Or do I give each cutting it’s own pot ?
When can I safely transfer them to the mother plant’s pot though?
