Should I cover up my bigger pile with a tarp to help it degrade quicker? It’s very dry and probably needs more browns. I have sifted it and got something that resembles compost (see second pic) but not sure if I’m doing it as efficiently as I should? Note the pile usually lives in the open pallet part, I pulled it all out to try and sift through it all.
