I wanted to try prop boxes to see if these stem cuttings from my Aglaonema Red Valentine would root. I put them in, moistened the perlite, closed the box, and kept them by a window. They’re now putting out new growth (the green bits) but… no roots? Just green growth coming out of the nodes. So now I’m quite confused on what I should do with them.

Do I keep them in the perlite and box until roots grow? Should I transfer them to soil to help them root? I’ve never had this happen with a propagation before… The pothos stem cuttings that used to be in the same box put out roots from a node so I’ve already transplanted those, but these are just… Like That.

    Help?
