Can anyone tell me what’s happening to her leaves?

This plant was gifted to my husband and me for our wedding. A black thumb, I watered it occasionally as I thought about it for 12 years. She bloomed the first 5 years then stopped, and started blooming again this year after I started using fertilizer. I fertilized 2x a month and she was doing great for a while. But then the leaves started looking curly and now they have holes, but no bugs that I can see. So I pulled back on the fertilizer, only giving it 1x a month and regular water otherwise, but it didn’t help. And then I had to move her from my kitchen counter due to my cat's new proclivity. She is in a spot with bright, indirect light but it's not as consistent. Please help me save my marriage plant!

My cats aren’t interested in AVs. My bet is some sort of infestation… a really tiny, hungry one. Although I feel that you should figure out what is nibbling first, I believe there are some systematic treatments that you can use.

How often do you repot her? 7 years of not blooming seems long. I like to fertilize every time I water at 1/4 strength. I get brown edges on my leaves when it gets too much sun. I think if you groom and remove the older outer leaves, it would look nicer. Not sure about the holes. Do you have other plants that you mist? Or are you top watering? Possibly those tiny water droplets got on the leaves of the AV and the sunlight is causing those marks.
