Earlier this year, we debuted The McGee Home Refresh, showcasing the updated spaces in Syd and Shea’s Utah dream home. Today, we are finally sharing a full tour of the backyard, from the garden trellises to the pool house.

It’s been a few years since Syd and Shea last shared a full tour of their backyard, and they’ve made some exciting updates since then. The McGee family spends a lot of time outdoors, and they’re excited to share what they love most about their refreshed space—hint: Shea’s favorite spot is where she grows food and Syd’s is where he cooks it.     My husband & I live North of SLC.
    We put 4 raised garden 🪴 beds in our yard as well.
    It was….a HOT SUMMER here in Utah!!😲
    Most of our plants did well, but like yours, some were choking. 😂🤣😅
    Your WHOLE backyard is PERFECT!!!
    I can’t pick a favorite.
    It looks very cozy too!!

    The veggie garden looks similar to @gardenanswer 's (gravel path, trellises on both ends, cluster planting and raised veggie beds look). I wont be surprised if they've taken inspiration her. It's fabulous! Love both influencere! ❤

    Do you wheel the smoker over when you want to use it, or does it have a dedicated space on the side of the house?

    Beautifully put together! Question: Not sure if it rains a lot in your state, so wondering about the furniture that is not the the covered area, is it water resistant? If so, will you share the link? (It was a dining set)

    For us a fenced pool is mandatory, to protect kids. It scary seeing no fence around the swimming pool

    Love the updated garden boxes (the trellises are so pretty) as well as the garden behind the pool. That’s a great site line and more trees for privacy are always a good thing!

    Why happened to Shea? She’s gotten so thin! I worry she’s on this very unnecessary ozempuc kick all the celebs are on now. I don’t know why we pressure women to be so thin and quite literally take up less space. Women come in all shapes and sizes and they are all beautiful. Shea – if you read this, I hope you know are truly beautiful at your regular size. You don’t need to waste away to satisfy some very narrow aesthetic or definition of beauty.
