We have this massive flowering bush in our front yard. I’m not sure what it is — not the original owner of the home, and I’m not a gardener. It’s out of control, and I need to do something with it. Our family loves it because it attracts so many butterflies in the late spring and summer. So removing it is out of the question.
How can I get it under control? Do I cut it all the way down and just let it grow and shape it as it gets bigger? Is there anything I can do to change how it grows? Right now it grows very much to the right. (See picture 2)
