Has anyone ever seen this or have an idea what is going on? For the past few days, I noticed these little pieces of something on the bathroom counter below where this begonia is hanging in my bathroom. I would clean them up and then there’d be more the next day. I ended up finding a little pile of them on a window below where it hangs and my mind immediately went to termite frass. I moved the plant to the shower to be extra sure the pieces were coming from the window and lo and behold, there are more of these below the plant hanging in the shower and none on the window. When these touch water or paper towel, they bleed red/pink. See photos. I’ve looked at them with a hand lens and they don’t appear to be insects or mites. We also don’t see any of these in the water dish below the plant indicating it would be coming from soil. Any thoughts or ideas?

Never mind, found the culprit. It was a small caterpillar chowing down.
