Why is my 15yrs+ Jade dying on my? Too much love (water) or what? 😭
First some branches started to dry out and break off (core was black). Today a whole section of the trunk broke off, the core is smushy. The tree is about 5ft tall. Please help before is gone.

Yeah that should be rotting from overwatering, go ahead and remove and the mushy areas until you see healthy wood/green and reroot.
