Why are the new leaves so small??

I put this begonia under grow lights about 45 days ago and while I love the color of the new leaves they are so much smaller than the old leaves??? Also it is unidentified so if anyone has any idea what kind it is that would be helpful. It is a costa farms begonia I picked it up at Lowe’s
