Birkin with special leaf? Or lucky with rootrot recovery?

Hi everyone πŸ˜€ I've been having some issues with new leaves going brown and mushy. I guessed it was a sign of possible rootrot and left my plant alone for a good 2 weeks. Now either my plant is doing wonky things or I'm lucky the rest of the leaf recovered. Do you guys have any idea?

I will soon replace the soil with something more airy.

Thank you πŸ˜€

Birkin is kinda notorious for its grotesque growth pattern so most of what’s going on looks like regular birkin behavior but the leaf with a different color at the end is the plant reverting to unvarigated growth.
