Should i snip off this bottlebrush’s flower bud?

Got this bottlebrush a month ago in a tiny pot that i repot it to a bigger pot until it’s big enough to go into ground. Noticed this bud today, should i snip it off to so it can focus on growth?

Firstly it’s fine to be planted in the ground now. There’s some information to suggest a lot of natives establish faster and are potentially more drought tolerant if they spend less time in pots.

Don’t snip it. Pretty sure that’s new leaves forming not a flower bud – based on some of the callistemons I’ve got. But even if it is flowers it’ll probably be fine, or you can snip it later if you’re still worried.
