Outdoor water fountain needs water replaced daily – is that normal?

This is a 54” mirabella scallop fountain. We have to refill it daily. I can see it has splash out and it does sit in the sun most of the day, plus it’s been a hot summer. With those factors does it seem like a reasonable amount to refill? I’ve checked for leaks (none) and it is level. It looks wetter than normally in the pic because I just filled it with the hose.
