Really great to finally get to visit this courtyard garden which was designed for the ‘Yard House’ by @jonathantuckeydesign – completed last autumn. I’ve been dying to get out to see it during lockdown. The planting has exploded into life and really softens the space. The clients wanted a lawn which I said wouldn’t really work with the concept, so we included an area of creeping time and ‘mind your own business’ for their daughter to play on, rather than a formal lawn. It’s worked really well, and she loves it! One amelanchier has suffered in the recent hot dry weather, but I’m sure it will bounce back with a bit of TLC. Great work from @lalandscapes @breffni_mcgeough on the landscaping.
