Philodendron

I’m getting mixed advice as to what this actually is. Any experience or advice?

Three of my plants are showing off signs I believe to be pests or fungal.

The first three photos are my Atabapoense, the big black dots I believe is housefly poop, as thrips poop is smaller more uniform black dots. But I am unsure of the yellow-ish stuff near the vein. It seems to be part of the plant. I tried to scrape it off and that caused more damage.

4 & 5 are my Billietiae and I believe those are active EFNs?

6 & 7 are my bipen. The discoloration in 6 made me think it was Scale, but I tried to scrape it off and it cracked the middle of the circle straight through the plant, it is really dry. The black blobs is more housefly poop. I am unsure of what the discoloration at the bottom of 7 is, but maybe fungus issue?

Are we SURE it’s not Scale… cause…. Eh?.. I want to scrape it. Usually when I’m inspired to scrape it, it’s scale. So super scientific. 😉

Try to scrape it, and yes those are EFN’s which could be a sign you have pests.
