My African violets haven’t bloomed ever since March/April. I was trying to figure out why but noticed that i see what looks like to be another separate African violet growing in the same pot. Is this normal and should I just let it be?

I would remove it were it my plant. Little plantlets like that can suck up the extra energy the mother plant would otherwise use for blooming.
On the brightside, you’d now have two plants! And it’s big enough that it’s more likely to survive the separation.
