Snagged this leaf off the floor at walmart about a month ago and started to propagate. Not sure if it’s ready for soil? also what kind of plant is it & how to do I care for it?
It’s a ficus tineke and no it’s not ready to plant. I wait until the roots are hella long before I plant; I’ve always had a rough time transitioning them to soil after water so be patient

That plant will never grow. It doesn’t have a node. It will forever be a singular leaf

Like worriedjacket said. You have to have stem material to grow. A leaf will root but will always be a zombie prop.
