My small tmb-b which is 4 little nubs now has 5 pups all but one are growing in seemingly inconvenient places. Should just let it ride or remove an older pup to allow space for the newer ones?
Personally I want more plants so I would propagate.

not at all. they’re more than happy to make room for each other. the spines come out flexible at first and find a nice play to lay before stiffening up. and even if they do stab each other it’s no big deal. u can let this thing ride for decades my man
