Crushed Heart
A fabulous open-pollinated variety that’s an annual for me. Indeterminate, regular leaf, mid season producing crimson and black heart shaped fruits between 120 and 260g. Foliage can sometimes be wispy as with most ‘hearts’ but not as much as Rebel Starfighter Prime and Sgt Peppers for example.
This was a 2016 Wild Boar Farms introduction. Vigorous plants with beautifully coloured Oxheart fruits, dense and meaty with a mild/sweet flavour profile. Can be grown outside as well as in a greenhouse.
