Why did my 3rd year Salvia Azurea produce some white flowers? Seeds from Prairie Moon 3 summers ago, winter sowed in milk jugs and transplanted in this area. I never scattered seeds here. Last two summers I had only blue flowers. The plant that has the white flowers are volunteers 1-2 feet from my original transplanting. All the other plants are blue. Is this a natural color variance? Or something else?
