Overwatering?? Too much sun? I put her in a new plant and she immediately shot out 2 stems. She’s in full sun outside currently but she used to be inside and neglected (like honestly didn’t water for 6 months). I’ve been watering now probably once a month because it seems like the soil dries out much more quickly with her being outside in the summer but the leaves are fading and browning so idk if I should just bring her inside again. Thanks!

A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.

Not an expert but this looks like sunburn, or basically bright direct light for a plant that doesn’t like that type of light. ZZ likes bright indirect light instead, which is like bright light, but through a window or something similar
Looks like sunburn. They don’t like direct light. Is there a shady spot outside you can move it? Otherwise an indoor spot next to a bright window would be good!
