Different ways of propagation

I’ve tried a bunch of different ways of propagation this year and have failed spectacularly but I’ve learned a lot and have some pretty happy props now.

The first 2 pics are from a water propped leaf that as soon as I saw a teeny bit of growth I potted it up and put a bag over it. I cut the mother leaf off because it kept tipping over lol. It’s been in this pot since June and is growing so slow!

The 2nd and 3rd pics are from another water prop that I tried after someone here told me to cut the stem at an angle and put it in water immediately. These ones grew roots super fast so once the roots were about 2 inches long I threw them in dirt and let them do their thing. The first lil leaf appeared about 3 days ago and yesterday I noticed the 2nd leaf.

The last few pics are from a leaf that I cut and let callus over and just threw it in some dirt in an old pill bottle. It took forever to root or do anything but when it did start growing it went nuts.

Now I water prop until the roots are a couple inches long and then toss them into a pill bottle full of dirt and let them run wild. It’s been a fun adventure🤣
