Gardening For A Cause: Creating A Container Garden For Destiny’s Calling Ministry

Today we are planting for a cause. I had the pleasure to have Diana Lynn, Loretta, and Dawn help me plant up a gorgeous container full of perennials and annuals. This container is being donated to an organization called Destiny’s Calling. The name is not named after Destiny, like you think it would be. It’s called Destiny because be all are destined for a calling. When I was called to YouTube, I might have never thought I could be helping girls learn how to plant in hopes that this would be part of their therapy.

If you are in the Charlotte Area please consider coming to the fundraiser held on April 27, 2024. I will be there if you would like to meet me!!! If not and you would like to give to this cause you can click on this link:

Destiny’s Girls Home is the vision of Destiny’s Calling nonprofit. It will be a safe haven for girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking. The 1st of 4 homes is scheduled to be completed this December. It will house 10 girls (ages 13 to 21). The home will provide life skills training, educational opportunities, counseling and other necessary services for re-entry into mainstream society. We’re having a fundraiser and silent auction on April 27th (see details). Tickets are available on their website at: DestinysCalling.com/event, you can also make a donation if you’d like to support their cause. Destiny’s Calling is a 501 (c)3 so all donations are tax deductible.
Also, please consider them when you are cleaning out closets or simply redecorating your home. Destiny’s Calling ReSale shop is in Clover, SC. See shop address and hours on their Facebook page. The shop is run by all volunteers, 100% of the proceeds goes towards their mission. Check out their Facebook page. Like, Follow and Share! Thanks in advance for your consideration of supporting Destiny’s Calling!
