Cool idea! I’d probably opt for a larger collection tank, such as a food-grade 300 gallon tote, that’s on a stand and protected with some heavy framing to keep large livestock from rubbing against it and messing up the setup.

Have it on one half of my shed with an ibc tote and homemade first flush diverter works well and water stays relatively clean and fresh. I have even used for showers
