Growing a Greener World Episode 208 – Small Space Gardening

In these days of urban sprawl, a new trend is emerging. Yards are becoming smaller and today, more people are moving back into the city. Yet one thing persists no matter where they live; the desire to have a garden. And thanks to new vertical gardening methods and varieties of plants, it’s never been easier to have a lush and beautiful garden on a balcony, landscape or terrace. From apartments and condos, to homes on zero lot lines, small space gardening is a fast-growing and popular trend. We explore some of the latest information and visit many tiny gardens with big impact in the San Francisco area.
