Bamboo roots snapped on the way home!

Hey everyone! I bought these two lucky bamboo stems from a lady yesterday. She advised me to stick it in water and it’ll grow fine! My main concern is that on that bus ride home, many of roots for the one on the right snapped!

Will the plant still be okay or grow new roots? Is there anything else I must do?
